GIG Infrastructure & Real Assets invests in, develops, finances and owns the physical assets and essential infrastructure systems that underpin economic activity, industrial development and global commerce. Our investment activities span energy generation and transmission, pipelines, transportation and logistics, digital infrastructure, telecommunications, water systems, industrial facilities, strategic real estate and other critical assets across Greater Southern Africa and select global markets. We focus on assets that perform essential economic functions, connect markets, enable industrial production and facilitate the movement of people, goods, information and resources. Our approach encompasses both greenfield development and investment in existing infrastructure, allowing us to participate across the lifecycle of an asset: from initial origination and project development through financing, construction, commissioning, operation, expansion and long-term ownership. We originate and develop infrastructure opportunities where there is demonstrable economic demand, strategic importance and the potential to establish commercially sustainable assets. This includes identifying infrastructure gaps, securing development opportunities, assembling technical and commercial partners, structuring project companies, negotiating concessions and commercial arrangements, and coordinating the financial and technical work required to bring projects to bankability. We work across complex infrastructure transactions, including public-private partnerships, independent power projects, concessions, build-operate-transfer arrangements and other long-term infrastructure structures.

Our investment activities also include the acquisition and ownership of operating infrastructure and real assets. We pursue direct investments, strategic partnerships, joint ventures and platform acquisitions in assets with durable demand, defensible market positions and the potential to generate long-term cash flows. Where appropriate, we seek to consolidate complementary assets, integrate infrastructure across commercial value chains and develop larger platforms capable of serving multiple markets and industries.

Our approach combines investment underwriting, financial structuring and an understanding of the technical, regulatory, political and commercial considerations that determine infrastructure performance. We assess asset economics, construction and operating risks, demand fundamentals, counterparties, contractual frameworks, capital requirements and long-term maintenance obligations. Through GIG's broader investment platform, specialist relationships and Artelligence™, our proprietary intelligence and underwriting platform, we seek to make disciplined capital allocation decisions and support the development of infrastructure that is commercially viable, operationally resilient and strategically important.

Infrastructure requires patient capital, specialist expertise and sustained execution. We therefore approach our investments with a long-term ownership perspective, seeking to build assets that remain productive, generate sustainable returns and support economic activity across generations. Our objective extends beyond financing individual projects: we seek to develop interconnected infrastructure platforms that strengthen productive capacity, improve market connectivity and establish the foundations for industrial expansion.
