GIG Private Equity invests in businesses that are strategically important to the growth and development of Greater Southern Africa. We focus on small and mid-market companies operating in sectors including energy, infrastructure and logistics, food and water, healthcare, financial services, advanced manufacturing and other essential industries. We seek control and significant minority investments where our capital, relationships and operating resources can materially influence the trajectory of the business.

Our investment process begins with the broader market. We assess the country and policy environment, identify structural themes and catalysts, and then evaluate industries, companies and management teams positioned to benefit. We look for businesses with strong market positions, capable leadership, attractive unit economics, opportunities for reinvestment and clear potential to scale.
